Ghost gets bail for assaulting a police officer
The truce among rival gangs has held since the weekend, but in the aftermath of the confrontation between George Street residents and the Gang Suppression Unit, alleged gang members are still being arrested. Today Leonard “Ghost” Myers appeared in Magistrate’s Court, represented by attorney Anthony Sylvester, to be read two charges; Assaulting a Police Officer and Using Obscene Language at the GSU’s Detective Corporal Phillips. Myers pleaded not guilty to both charges and was released on bail with his next court appearance set for October eighteenth. He was arrested at around nine o’clock on Monday morning as he exited the Belize City Magistrate’s Court following a hearing in a separate matter. Myers is also awaiting trial along with his common-law-wife for Keeping a Firearm without a Gun License.

mmmmm lets make a duppy out of him
sometimes we tend to criticize ppl and not knowing the really story behind it
there should be no trial for these criminal. The law should be Judge, Jury and executioner
What is this…….”using obscene language”??????? IS THERE NO FREEDOM OF SPEECH???????
