Changes in the senior command in San Pedro Police

There has been a recent spike in violent crimes and drug trafficking in San Pedro, the most recent resulting in the arrest of a couple on Friday for possession of a hundred and sixty grams of cannabis.  To combat the upsurge the Belize Police Department has reshuffled its command on the island.  Assisting Superintendent Luis Castellanos as deputy officer in charge is Inspector Henry Jemmott.  Over the weekend, San Pedro police launched operation Clear Water, conducting searches in the San Pedrito area where they found seven transparent plastic bags of cannabis weighing two hundred grams.  Another search of the area on Sunday night yielded three hundred and fifty grams, and eighty-seven point seven grams, leading to the William Valentine who has been arrested and charged for drug trafficking.
