Christmas lights give festive feel to Belize City

One aspect of Christmas in Belize that always seems to get better every year is the houses decorated with lights. Drive around any community and you will see homes and businesses whose owners always get into the holiday spirit and then some. Last night News Five went out to capture some of the best displays in Belize City. Here’s a sample:

It seems the lights keep getting better every year. And speaking of improvements, News Five would like to remind our viewers that there will be no newscast on December twenty-eighth, twenty-ninth and thirtieth. The move is part of an equipment upgrade here at the station. Regular programming will also be affected beginning December twenty-sixth. However, locally produced show “No Matta Wat” will air in its usual time slot at seven on Monday night.
