Suspect detained in fatal Dangriga stabbing
A resident of Dangriga is in police custody tonight pending charges of murder following a fatal stabbing early this morning. According to authorities, the twenty-one year old suspect and the twenty-four year old victim, identified as Dave Nunez, got into an argument in the Wagierale area of the town. A knife was introduced to the altercation and when the dust settled Nunez lay on the ground bleeding profusely from multiple stab wounds to his face, neck, and body. Up to news time tonight, no charges had been filed against the accused. The murder of Dave Nunez is the seventy-second of the year.
