4 men charged for robbery during Handyside fire

Police have made arrests in connection with Saturday’s destructive fire. According to court reports, today thirty-one year old Kevin Kelly, thirty-two year old Lincoln Allen, thirty year old Anthony Major, and fifty-five year old Michael Cain, who all live in the neighbourhood, were arraigned on a charge of burglary before Chief Magistrate Herbert Lord. The men are all accused of entering the home of Marcella Weatherburne and stealing jewellery, seventeen hundred Belize dollars, and six hundred and eighty U.S. dollars. Allen, Major, Cain, and Kelly pleaded not guilty to the charge and were remanded to Hattieville Prison until December thirteenth.
