Taylor’s Alley Resident Arraigned for Murder of Tulio Caceres

Keyron Gibson

A suspect was today arraigned for a murder which occurred three months ago in Belize City.  Taylor’s Alley resident, Keyron Gibson, was before the courts for the June thirteenth murder of Tulio Caceres, a resident of the same area. This morning Gibson, who spent the long weekend in lockdown, was read a single charge of murder. Caceres was gunned down at the mouth of Pink’s Alley in Belize City in broad daylight.  He was unrepresented and remanded into custody at the Belize Central Prison until November eleventh. On the morning of murder, several gunshots rang out on the north side of Belize City; thirty year-old Julio Caceres, a Taylor’s Alley resident was fatally wounded. He was hanging out at Majestic Alley, at its intersection with North Front Street when he met his untimely death.  Scenes of Crime personnel processed the murder scene and found eight expended shells. The murder occurred dangerously close to the Saint Mary’s Church and Primary School which cancelled all classes for the rest of the day.
