P.U.P. endorses candidates for Belize City mayor, council
Over the weekend, the People’s United Party held its endorsement convention for its Belize City candidates in the municipal elections scheduled for next March. Hosted at the Belize City Centre on Saturday afternoon, the bashment gave thumbs up to current councillor Marshall Nunez as its mayoral choice. Also running again as councillors are Eloisa Trujeque, Jacqueline Welch, and Yasmin Shoman to be accompanied by newcomers Anthony Mahler, Keith Acosta, Sharet Yarwood, Oscar Rosado, Albert Vaughan, Shanine Campbell, and Carolyn Trench-Sandiford. Countrywide municipal elections are scheduled for March first of next year. The United Democratic Party’s slate for the city is led by Zenaida Moya.
