O.W. mother charged with neglect
Meanwhile, a young mother from Orange Walk town has been arrested and charged with child neglect following a visit to her home over the weekend. According to police reports, when officers went to the residence of twenty-nine year old Estela Aldana on Otro Benque road, they found her two children, ages one month and three years old, home alone. This is not the first time Aldana has been charged for the same offence. In addition to initiating legal proceedings, authorities are also recommending that Aldana undergo a psychiatric evaluation.
