Case of Accused Killer Adjourned
Mexican national, Anabel Kumul, who is accused with the murder of her common-law-husband, twenty six year old Felix Alamilla, appeared for the third time in the courtroom of Magistrate Dale Cayetano. But her hearing was adjourned for November fifth. Kumul was informed by the magistrate that her next court appearance will be in San Pedro where the crime occurred on July twenty-third. It is alleged that on the morning of the murder, Kumul went to a rental house where her estranged common-law husband was sleeping and stabbed him repeatedly to the body. Doctors confirmed that Alamilla was stabbed multiple times and that he succumbed after he haemorrhaged from the injuries. Alamilla was at a rental house on the south part of the island, some four miles from the center of town, when he was stabbed with a knife taken from his kitchen area. Kumul was arrested by police when she was attempting to leave the island.
