Teakettle Duo Charged for Unitedville Murder
In the west another man was killed when he was stabbed to death. Tonight a pair of Teakettle men is on remand at the Belize Central Prison, following the Friday night stabbing death of Kevin Taylor Jr. The vicious attack on Taylor happened in Unitedville sometime after ten o’clock. According to San Ignacio police, the trio was involved in a physical altercation during which Taylor was fatally injured in the left side of the chest and back. Despite being transported to the Western Regional Hospital, he would not survive the ordeal. In the wake of the deadly stabbing twenty-five-year-old Brian Belle and twenty-five-year-old Tyrone Gongora have been arrested and charged with murder. News Five spoke with Inspector Reymundo Reyes by phone earlier today.

“On Friday October 10th, 2014, sometime after ten, ten-thirty p.m. information was received of a person being stabbed in Unitedville. As a result, San Ignacio Police visited the said village where on arrival they received certain information and they visited an open lot located behind M&H Shop which belongs to Mr. Samuel Mendoza. But nothing incriminating was found there. Information was that one Kevin Taylor had been transported to Belmopan with stab wounds to the left side of the chest and a cut wound to his back. Later on Belmopan police informed San Ignacio that the person had succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment. As a result, two persons were detained for questioning and on Monday the thirteenth, Brian Belle, twenty-five-years-old, and Tyrone Gongora Rushford, thirty-two-years-old of Black Man Eddy Village, were charged for the crime of murder for the murder of Mr. Kevin Andrew Taylor Jr.”
