Are Unwelcome Visitors Reconnoitering Conservation Post in Chiquibul?

Another issue that has remained in the headlines is the execution-style murder of Danny Conorquie at the Caracol Archaeological Site, inside the Chiquibul National Park. The BDF says that groups of unauthorized visitors are showing up at the Conservation Post along the border and taking photos of its layout, as well as of security personnel and their equipment. The force views these actions as a threat to operational security as well as to the safety and security of personnel, property, and equipment at these locations. The BDF also advises that with immediate effect members of the public are to refrain from such visits without the authority of the Belize Defence Force Headquarters.
