Are the Murders of Brandon Flowers and Gregory Goodfellow Related?

Twenty-one year old Brandon Flowers was stabbed Sunday morning in Ladyville, which means that this is the second murder in that community in four days. But is there a connection between the murders of Flowers and twenty-two year old Gregory Goodfellow? The two men grew up in the same area and knew each other, so there is reason to speculate about a connection, but the Ladyville Police aren’t willing to jump to conclusions until the investigation is done. Today Inspector Gordon briefed the media on that stabbing incident, since official information has been somewhat scarce.

“The Ladyville Police responded to a report of a person being beaten on Stork Street, Ladyville. The Police proceeded to that area where the body of that person lately recognized to be Brandon Flowers was found in the area. He was motionless at the time. Our investigation is showing that he was stabbed somewhere in the vicinity of Stork Street it appears that he was stabbed because of the blood and other things that we found in the immediate area.”

“Can you tell us any motive for this? Was it related to anything Mr. Flowers had…any kind of associations or was he just a victim of a random crime?”

“We don’t want to speculate at this time, but the Police are looking into every aspect of the investigation, but the investigation is pretty young at this time, so it would be premature for us to say that certain things happened. We want to confirm before we reveal any information.”

“Yes, they know each other. They used to be together. But I wouldn’t seh well yes he know bout it. Because as I seh, when you have yu children you noh know weh they do out deh because they noh wah come and seh Ma I do something out deh.”
Several persons have been detained but there have been no charges brought against anyone.
