Facts not clear in Corozal stabbing
A Corozal man who said he was the victim of a violent attack while walking home from a club may face charges that he stabbed someone else first. Twenty-year old Emmanuel Villanueva told police he was ambushed by some guys early Sunday morning and stabbed in the stomach, recounting that shortly after midnight he had come to the aid of a friend who was accosted by a group of people at the Cactus Club. But police are now reviewing his story, after another man identified only as “Hall” reported that Villanueva stabbed him in the buttocks earlier that evening. Villanueva was admitted to Northern Regional Hospital in a critical condition.
