Neighbourhood burglar caught in Ladyville
A Ladyville resident pleaded not guilty to burglary and handling stolen goods today in Magistrate’s Court. Stanley Hilton of Mitchell Estate was granted bail of five thousand dollars, but was remanded due to other unpaid court fines. He is accused of breaking into the home of his neighbour Alfred Hislop sometime between August twenty-seventh and September fifth and stealing an outboard engine, cell phones, clothing, and a cassette player. The items were found when police searched Hilton’s home.
