Highway potholes get some fill
We don’t know if our story last night had anything to do with it, but today drivers using the Northern Highway got a welcome reprieve as work crews spent most of the day filling every pothole they could find. And what’s more, they used tar, which should last much longer than the normal sand and gravel fill that washes out with the first rain. Today work began at the Haulover Bridge, heading south towards Belize City and we are keeping our fingers crossed that the weather will hold long enough to get the job done.
