Teen refuses to give thieves his bike
A fourteen year old successfully fought off two men who were trying to steal his bicycle on Tuesday. Michael Heredia told police he was near the Lopez Mateo Park in King’s Park when two males came up to him and grabbed onto his bicycle. When Heredia refused to let go, one of the men hit him in the head with a lock attached to a chain, injuring one of his ears, but he continued to hang on. Apparently realising they had met their match, the men finally fled the scene without the bike. Police are seeking the two suspects.
