Motorcyclist in Critical Condition
Tonight, twenty-four year old Earl Pitts is in the K.H.M.H. in a critical, but stable condition after he was involved in an accident. Shortly after midday today, Pitts was on his motorcycle riding on Holy Emmanuel Street when his cycle collided into a SUV travelling in the opposite direction. Pitts, whose cycle was extensively damaged, was flung into the windshield of the vehicle as a result of the impact. Indications are that Pitts was not wearing a helmet received varying degrees of injuries. He is being treated at the hospital for two broken legs and a broken arm. The driver of the vehicle, a seventeen year old woman, has been notified that she may be served with a notice of intended prosecution pending police investigation.
