Campaigners Clash in Cayo
There are thirteen days left before the March fourth municipal elections when voters will elect mayors and councilors for nine municipalities. At this time, emotions are running high between campaigners of both major political parties. Earlier today, in San Ignacio, police had to be called in to avert trouble in a town that is known for serious political activism. The P.U.P. Party Leader, Francis Fonseca, was on the ground with his campaigners on George Price Avenue and so were U.D.P. campaigners. It got heated and it took police presence to cool down the foot soldiers. One party was allowed to continue on the campaign and the other was advised to head in another direction. Here is a snippet taken by amateur camera of the close encounters between the political parties.
{Footage of confrontation…}
WE ASK THAT THE FOOTBALL FIELD BE GIVEN TO BOTH PARTIES AND THERE THEY CAN GO TO WAR AS THEY MAY FEEL FIT ENOUGH!!!
SO WE HAVE LESS TRAFFIC JAMS LIKE WHAT THEY BOTH DID.
THEY CAN EVEN FACE BOOK THEIR LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER AT THE FIELD.
What are the UDP’s so afraid of if they say that they have the election covered already. They know that even if the PUP does not have money and they have all the money the PUP have them worried because we are here to give them hell. Get ready Dean because Francis is coming “PUP ALL THE WAY. “
LOL@MNHG,
just to show you how brain washed political fanatics can go to extreme while they kill themselves for a mere $100.00 for the big rats that will enjoy their fights and sweats for 5 yrs and enrich themselves to the max from my taxes and theirs, bunch of fools fighting. Good idea, get them a open space and let them fight and later, let them reflects how stupid it is to fight for politics.
Political ignorance!
Just for the record this did not happen in San Ignacio. I happened in Santa Elena. Also we were not on the George Price Ave but on the George Price Hwy.
