One Man Detained for Cedar Street Shooting
As we said, two men murdered earlier this week. In the case of twenty-nine year old Herbert Bowden, who was gunned down on Cedar Street, one man is in police detention. That’s the information coming out from police today following Bowden’s mid afternoon execution on Thursday. The Tibruce Street resident was shot multiple times to the body by a gunman who approached and fired the deadly blasts from behind. While there is a person in custody tonight, police say that investigations continue since a motive for the crime has still not been ascertained.
Supt. David Chi, O.C., Precinct 1, Eastern Division Police
