O.W. man bleeds to death after bar fracas
A resident of San Jose is dead following a bar fight in that Orange Walk village. According to police, twenty-five year old Dalito Herrera bled to death Friday night after a pint bottle thrown in his direction broke against a wall and a piece ricocheted and cut him severely. Herrera was taken to the Northern Regional Hospital but died a short while after admission. Today the man who allegedly threw the bottle, twenty-year-old Elvis Alonzo Gonzalez, was charged with manslaughter by negligence. He was granted and met bail of six thousand dollars and will reappear in Orange Walk Magistrate’s Court on September seventh.
