San Pedro watchman died of suffocation
Another post-mortem, this one conducted in Belize, has revealed that San Pedro security guard Francisco Almendarez suffocated to death. It is recalled that Almendarez, watchman at Fido’s Bar and Restaurant, was bound and gagged by thieves who entered the premises early Tuesday morning. It appears that whatever they put around his face to keep him quiet may have in fact been responsible for his death. Four men have been detained for the crime.
