Five arrested in Zetina murder

Police have arrested five men in connection with the killing of Celestino Zetina. The men, all from Belize City, who were picked up over the course of yesterday and today, are twenty-two year old Trevor Avilez of Jasmine Street; Earl Claire, twenty-five, of Violet Lane; thirty year old Andrew Williams of Marigold Lane; Eighteen year old Austin Rowland of Oleander Street; and twenty-four year old Steven Zelaya of Jones Avenue. The accused will be brought to Magistrate’s Court Thursday morning and are expected to be charged with murder. Zetina was abducted from Vernon Street on July tenth and his body was found Tuesday just off the Western Highway outside of Belize City.
