Cyclist fatally run over by truck
A Belize City man has died after being knocked off his bicycle by a truck. According to police, fifty-year old Hubert Sterling of Nurse Findley Crescent was riding down Vernon Street toward Central American Boulevard around seven Monday night when he was apparently hit by a truck travelling in the same direction in the process of turning onto the boulevard. Sterling died of his injuries around midnight at the K.H.M.H. The driver of the towhead truck with trailer, sixty-seven year old Hector Hilton, has been questioned by police but no charges have yet been filed.
