Incest suspect makes bail, is banished from house
Another man, accused of committing incest with his two daughters, age twelve and thirteen, has been granted bail but ordered by the court to immediately vacate the family residence. The thirty-six year old Belize City resident, whose name we will for the present withhold, was remanded to prison on the incest charge on June sixth. On his reappearance in court yesterday Chief Magistrate Herbert Lord set a bail of seven thousand five hundred dollars, but at the same time heard a request for a judicial order made by attorney Dickie Bradley on behalf of the victim’s mother. That request, which was granted by Lord, was for the accused, under the watchful eye of police, to remove all his belongings from the house. He is also ordered to reappear in court on July thirteenth.
