Was Munchie Cervantes’s Vehicle Used By Caneros in Arson of Cane Fields?

Also up north two men are in custody tonight because police suspect they burned cane fields belonging to American Sugar Refinery, and fired at ASR Security personnel who caught them doing it. According to reports at around three this afternoon, security guards at the ASR sugar cane fields in San Lorenzo discovered the men setting fire to the fields. When they approached them, the men allegedly fired shots at them. They retreated and called the Police, who responded and caught the two men as they attempted to flee the scene.
The duo was detained and is in custody at this time. News Five has confirmed that one of the men is Efrain Alpuche Junior and also that the vehicle they were found in is the property of political aspirant Ramon Cervantes Junior.
According to reports, twenty acres of cane were burned, a value of fifty thousand dollars. We’ll have more on this story in Tuesday’s newscast.
