For the second time in the last seven days, a Belize City businessman stands accused of molesting a little girl. The latest incident finds forty-five year old Bernard Williams accused of one count of carnal knowledge and five counts of indecent assault. According to court reports, a thirteen-year-old primary school girl is alleging that on five different occasions Williams fondled her. She also claims that the accused offered her five and two dollars on separate occasions. The most recent encounter allegedly took place last Wednesday afternoon, when the Standard Five student claims Williams engaged in sexual intercourse with her. An examination by a doctor has certified that the girl was carnally known. Williams pleaded not guilty to the charges and was granted bail in the sum of ten thousand dollars.
