Cayo TV show celebrates 13 years

He’s been on the air for the last thirteen years and Cayo residents, especially children, tune in every Wednesday evening to see the Pandy Show. This weekend, the programme’s producer and host Kent Pandy wants all his fans and their friends to join him in celebrating this special milestone. On Sunday, the enterprising television personality is throwing a thirteenth anniversary party like no other. This afternoon Pandy told News Five’s Patrick Jones that all people need to do is show up at the Macal River Park in San Ignacio to join in the fun.

?We will be having a big bash out there for everybody. We will be having lots of giveaways, bear drinking contests, watermelon eating contests. Also mostly for the kids, we will have games for them. And we?ll be having a variety of things out there as well.?

?Although it?s like thirteen years, I passed through a lot but still going on. And sometimes I only have a few gifts to give away. And most of all I would like to thank like Bismillah Store, they donate prize like every week.?

?Did you ever think that in thirteen years you would have what you have today??

?Well I did not imagine I would have all this. But I think that by now and next year, things will get better than now.?

?Who is the show targeted at??

?Mostly the kids, because I want the kids to know that not because maybe a person stammers, a person is blind, a person is deaf or whatever. Once they put their mind to something they could do it, so like go for it, you know.?

Music for the anniversary celebration will be provided by the New Sensations Band from Georgeville, along with D.J. Diamond. Pandy says that a major goal of his for the coming year is to raise enough funds to acquire a fire truck for the San Ignacio/Santa Elena Fire Department.
