Suspect sought in Belize City killing

Cayo police are not the only ones searching for a killer. The Belize City department needs your assistance in tracking down the prime suspect in last week’s murder of twenty-one year old Wasani Belgrave. Twenty-one year old Alex Palacio is being sought by police who believe that he is heading south to Punta Gorda where he has family. Anyone who knows his whereabouts is asked to call the nearest police station. Police say Palacio should be considered dangerous. Belgrave, who was laid to rest on Wednesday, was stabbed to death as he rode his bicycle on Caesar Ridge Road around six-thirty last Thursday evening.
