No motive yet in Hummingbird murder
Police have yet to come up with a motive for the death of a Guatemalan national discovered on Saturday, but they strongly believe that someone murdered Andres Lopez. Lopez’s body was found lying on the side of the Hummingbird Highway in St. Margaret’s Village in the Cayo District around six in the evening. He had what appeared to be scratches around his neck and injuries to the left temple and waist. Police say they do not have any suspects and are appealing to the public to assist them with any information that might crack this case.
