Story PicturePolice have arrested and charged four men in connection with the Monday jacking of a grocery store on Faber’s Road in Belize City. Twenty-Five year old Kirk Baird, nineteen-year-old Shane Morgan, nineteen-year-old Jordine Jergenson, and eighteen-year-old Aaron Adolphus have been charged with four counts each of robbery. Fifty-year-old Fu Hung reported to Police that sometime around eleven on Monday morning he was inside his store, Faber’s Snack Shop, when two men entered and ordered water. While he was serving the customers, Fu said that two other men entered the establishment and one of them proceeded to hit him in his head. A struggle then ensued, but came to an abrupt end when one of the group produced a handgun and ordered every one to freeze. Fu said that one of the assailants then went behind the counter where Fu’s wife was and helped himself to fifteen hundred dollars in cash, a thousand dollars worth of telephone cards and a cellular phone. The robbers also targeted two of Fu’s customers who were in the store at the time of the incident. One of them, thirty-six year old Primitivo Teul, was injured as a result of being hit in the head during the struggle.
