Corozal robbers get big sentences
They received nine years in jail for crimes committed in Orange Walk and today Robert Hill and Mark Massam received more bad news. Pleading guilty to charges arising out of three robberies in Corozal on March twentieth, twenty-second and twenty-fifth, Hill received a total of twenty-seven additional consecutive years in prison while Massam was given twenty-one more years. A seventeen-year-old first time offender faces a total of eight thousand dollars in fines.
