Sunday Afternoon RTA Leaves 3 Men Injured
A near-fatal traffic mishap along the George Price Highway sometime around three-thirty p.m. on Sunday afternoon has left several persons injured. A white Isuzu Trooper driven at the time by twenty-nine-year-old Mathew Ruiz overturned multiple times before coming to rest in an upside-down position near the Burrell Boom junction. According to the customer care representative, he was en route to Burrell Boom Village when upon reaching the intersection he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to flip. Along with him at the time of the accident were twenty-one-year-old Albert Davis and eighteen-year-old Nathaniel Lockwood, both of Sandhill Village. While the vehicle suffered extensive damages, fortunately for its occupants they were not fatally injured.
