Butane Prices Drop

If you have been to the pump recently you would have noticed a drop in the prices of fuel. In the City since Wednesday, regular fuel has been selling at eight dollars and five cents, that’s a dip of ninety one cents per gallon. Diesel is retailing at six dollars and sixty cents, a reduction of thirty one cents but the price of premium stayed at nine dollars and fifty eight cents.  Prices in LPG are also registering a drop. Effective today, consumers who purchase LPG from Western Gas Company Energy and Belize Gas Limited will be seeing a reduction of five dollars per one hundred pound cylinder.  In Belize City and Corozal, LPG is selling at eighty-two dollars, in Orange Walk at eighty three dollars, in Belmopan and San Ignacio, it retails at eighty-four dollars, in Benque Viejo at eighty-five and in the south in Dangriga at eighty-six while in Punta Gorda at eighty-seven dollars per cylinder. At depots, such as Belize Western Energy, Southern Choice Butane, Zeta Gas and Gas Tomza that import LPG from Central America, prices are going down by four dollars. In Belize City and Corozal the new price is eighty-one dollars, Orange Walk is eighty-two; in Belmopan and San Ignacio, it is eighty-three, in Benque Viejo it is eighty-four, in Dangriga it is retailing at eighty-five and in Punta Gora, at eighty-six dollars.
