B.T.L. Shareholders Receive 23 Cents per Share in Dividends
Shareholders received twenty-three cents per share in dividends, down one cent from last year. Chairman of the B.T.L. Executive Committee, Anwar Barrow, has completed one year as the company’s effective Chief Executive Officer. Despite the two-million dollar drop in profits, the Prime Minister’s son says he is not overly concerned and that the company is having a bright future.

“Revenue outlook. This is key…our revenue outlook as you can see from 2012 has been pretty stagnant. We were at a hundred and forty-three million dollars in terms of revenue in 2012; in 2014, we were back at a hundred and forty-three million dollars. But the exciting story here and what I want to point out on this slide is that for this financial year, starting in April, we are projecting at the next AGM to be up or above a hundred and fifty-one million dollars in revenue. So everything that I’ve been talking about in terms of the 4G mobile experience, in terms of pushing broadband connectivity; that is the result, that is where you see it in the hardcore numbers. That is going to be something that is going to be a tremendous turnaround going from a hundred and forty-three million dollars this year, to possibly over a hundred and fifty-one million dollars next year.”
