World says final goodbyes to Michael Jackson

Over twenty thousand persons packed the Staples Center arena in California while millions around the world watched the final farewell for the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. MJ’s gold-plated casket was on stage while fans and family grieved in the audience and at home. The service was attended by many celebrities including: Kobe Bryant, Spike Lee, Wesley Snipes, Martin Luther King III, Jennifer Hudson, Stevie Wonder, Usher, Magic Johnson, Brooke Shields, Larry King and Reverend Al Sharpton. A surprise came at the end when Michael’s daughter Paris, spoke to the gathering. Here is a snippet of the tribute to King of Pop.

It has not been made public what will become of Jackson’s body. His brother Jermaine hopes that he would be buried someday at the Neverland estate.
