Classes to Resume

Classes were called off for Monday due to water levels and the use of classrooms as shelters for affected families of the epic floods. A while ago, the Ministry of Education issued a release on the resumption of classes. In the Corozal District, all schools reopen with the exception of Fireburn RC and Chunox Saint Viator Vocational High School.  There is a possibility that Sarteneja schools may reopen, but this will be confirmed as soon as possible. In the Orange Walk district, classes are on schedule. Now in the Belize District, all schools reopen except for Our Lady of the Way RC in Ladyville, Queen Square Upper, Saint Mary’s Primary, Diocesan Pre-school, Sister Clara Mohammed Muslim Primary School and Grace Primary.
