Arrests made in two city murders

Police have made a speedy arrest in the shooting death of mechanic Lloyd Bodden on Thursday. This afternoon twenty year old Mark Alamilla and twenty-seven year old Roger Anthony, both of Belize City were charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Bodden was gunned down in front of his residence on Ebony Street. Bodden was involved in a court case with one of the men arrested, Roger Anthony, and had attended court earlier this week but the case had been adjourned until March. In another case, seventeen year old Tyrone Gentle has been charged with murder in connection with the shooting of Stanley Coleman who died this week after spending several days on a ventilator at the hospital.
