3 Men Arrested for Drug Trafficking in Dangriga

Three men have been arrested for drug trafficking in Dangriga. On Wednesday police detained the trio while they were travelling in Toyota Fore runner. The vehicle was spotted and stopped as it came from a feeder road which police say leads to a well known drug base in the Stann Creek Valley.  Driving the vehicle was thirty four year old Jeson Colon of Barranco, twenty-two year old Tariq AVilez and twenty-three year old Arnie Augustine. In a search of the fore runner police found one hundred and thirty six grams of cannabis. The three men are facing charges of drug trafficking. We understand that Avilez and Augustine are co-hosts of a television program in Punta Gorda.
