Shipment of Weed Discovered Inside Box of Lala Milk
No arrests have been made, but late last week, police were tipped off that someone intended to transport weed on the Tropic Air flight from Corozal Town to San Pedro. Special Branch and Criminal Investigation Branch personnel headed to Tropic’s office in the village of Ranchito and made the bust on Friday. Some four hundred and eighty six grams of cannabis, which is the equivalent of one pound and one ounce, were found hidden among baby clothes inside a box of the popular Lala milk. As we said, no arrests have been made since the owner of the box remains unidentified.
This doesn’t make sense, how can you not know? It didn’t mysteriously transport itself on the plane. Check all passengers and the luggage name, BINGO, we found the owner.
If the police really wanted to catch the smuggler why not wait until the shipment was picked up by whoever in San Pedro?
