Two fires destroy homes over the weekend

There were two fires over the weekend and two homes were completely destroyed. In Belize City on Arlington drive, a blaze destroyed a small wooden house. Shortly after midday on Sunday, the structure went up in flames which quickly spread and gutted the house. The second blaze also on Sunday burnt to the ground another small house in Teakettle Village, Cayo District. A thirty-five by twenty feet wooden structure, owned by James Neal Senior, was already engulfed in flames when police and fire officials arrived on the scene. The building and all its contents were completely destroyed but the value of the damage has not yet been determined.
