El Espanol shooter allegedly escaped to Belize in a boat

El Espanol, Ernesto Alonso de Miguel was killed at a restaurant in Chetumal back on the fourteenth of November. Also killed was top police officer, Agustin Martinez Guevara. A Mexican newspaper is reporting that the Attorney General of Quintana Roo believes that El Espanol was killed by a Belizean and is requesting exchange of information between Belize and Mexico since there are no diplomatic agreements in place. The reports are that the gunman escaped to Belize in a boat immediately after both men were executed. El Espanol is suspected of dealing with contraband cigarettes from the Corozal Free Zone where he operated his business and he resided.
