American tourist dies at San Pedro

Police do not suspect foul play in the death of a fifty-five year old American tourist. The woman identified as Donna Lea Howard was vacationing in Belize along with her husband Gary Deon Howard. The couple was staying at a resort in San Pedro Town when around nine on Thursday morning, Howard discovered his wife was having problems breathing. He reported that he quickly alerted a medical officer who administered CPR but it was too late. Mrs. Howard is reported to have a long history of medical problems and was taking a number of different medications. According to authorities, the body had no visible signs of violence.
