More Details on RTA in Cayo District

On Tuesday night we reported on two separate traffic accidents involving buses and fortunately there were no fatalities.  Tonight we have more details on the accident that happened between miles seventy-one and seventy-two on theGeorge Price Highwayat about four-thirty on Tuesday afternoon when an Isuzu cargo truck collided with a Blue Bird school bus. Twenty-five year old –Ri Fu Feng, a resident of Santa Elena Town was driving the cargo truck heading toBenqueViejoTownwhen he was hit by Florencio Perez who was behind the steering wheel of the bus. Feng sustained a minor cut wound above his right eye, his passenger twenty-two year-old Hua Chen X, also of Santa Elena,  was injured above his right eye while a third person, nineteen year old Heri Cocom, a resident of  Bullet Tree Village complained of pain to the left knee. Perez sustained abrasions to his face, fractured his hand and leg and also complained of pain to the abdomen. After he was removed from behind the steering wheel where he was trapped, he was rushed to the San Ignacio Hospital where he remains in a stable condition. Both vehicles were extensively damaged.
