City restaurant robbed
Another Belize City business establishment has been hit up for cash by armed thieves. Employees of HL’s Burger on Freetown Road reported to police that around six thirty on Wednesday evening two men walked into the building, one pulling out a handgun and cranking it. The message was clear and the staff was forced to watch the second man open the cash drawer and steal one hundred and ninety dollars. Money in hand, the robbers then ran from the restaurant, jumped on bicycles and disappeared into the darkness. No arrests have yet been made.
