Lord’s Bank killer still on the loose

Story PictureShe has gone from Ladyville housewife to Belize’s most wanted, as police have issued an all points bulletin for the arrest of Miriam Aguilar Lopez. The thirty-five year old Honduran is wanted for the murder of her common law husband, thirty-nine year old Luis Foreman. According to police, Aguilar went to Foreman’s house on Tuesday night and a confrontation ensued during which the deceased was stabbed in his thigh and bled to death on his living room floor. Police Press Officer G. Michael Reid says that posters with Aguilar’s picture have been circulated all over the country and posted at all border points as it is believed that the wanted woman may be heading to Honduras. The police department has enlisted the assistance of INTERPOL, which has asked the Honduran authorities to be on the lookout for Aguilar. Reports to News 5, however, indicate that the accused murderer may still be hanging around the scene of the crime in Lord’s Bank. She is described as being five feet, six inches tall, has long black hair and green/grey eyes. The police bulletin warns that Aguilar should be considered armed and dangerous and anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the nearest police station or the Crimestoppers hotline at 922. The funeral of Luis Foreman is scheduled for Monday in Ladyville.
