Meagan Leslie Busted Trying to Smuggle Weed into Hattieville Prison

The girlfriend of a prison inmate is in trouble with the law tonight. That’s because she tried to smuggle weed for him to take back to prison. Meagan Leslie was nabbed when she went to the Belize City Magistrate’s Court requesting permission to give Ryan Alvarez a medication. While the request was refused, authorities saw when she handed him a rag which when checked contained cannabis. The amount of weed has not been ascertained as Leslie was being processed at the station and is expected to be charged on Wednesday. Alvarez, aka “Lippo” is on remand for a recent murder which occurred in mid-2015. He is due in court on March ninth, 2016.
