Speednet responds to Salvation Army appeal
The Salvation Army today received a generous measure of help in its campaign to bring a smile to needy children at Christmas. Presenting a cheque for one thousand dollars to News 5’s Stewart Krohn, who accepted on behalf of the Salvation Army, was Speednet’s Chairman, Jaime BriceƱo.

Business houses who wish to make similar donations and in turn record a free Christmas greeting on Channel 5 are asked to call our News Department at 227-7781. Viewers should note that on Saturday morning our cameras will be out at Malic’s on East Canal to record free Christmas greetings for anyone making any size contribution to the Salvation Army Kettle Appeal.
