18 Persons Charged in Connection With Home Invasion Were in Court Today

The courtroom of the Chief Magistrate was packed to capacity today. As many as eighteen defendants charged in connection with the home invasion at the house of businessman Sarkis Abou Nehra were scheduled to appear. However, eighteen year Crystal Augustine who was granted Supreme Court bail in December after four nights on remand at the Belize Central Prison was a no show and a warrant has been issued for her detention. She also stands to have her bail confiscated. Augustine is accused and charged with handling stolen goods after she and others were found inside a vehicle loaded with liquors and others drinks stolen from Abou Nehra’s home. Others who have been charged are Tyrone Meighan, Brandon Baptist, John, Gerson, Sheldon and Lane Grinage, along with their uncle, Randolph Coleman Junior, Ashanti Roaches, Kamisha Cacho, Malik Pitts, Monique Cadle, Paul Jex Junior, his father, Paul Sabido Jex Senior, Paula and Pauline Jex, Jeffery James Buller Junior and Anthony Smith.   The matter was further adjourned for March fifteenth, 2016.  It is expected that the group will be provided with disclosure which is the evidence the police are relying on to prove the charge that the suspects are facing.  These charges range from rape, to conspiracy to commit rape and aggravated burglary to abetment to rape and handling stolen goods.

    Damn, luckily the police has evidence to convict, this sounds like a gang on tampage, jail time and fine should be given.
