Police to Levy Additional Charges on Paumen

Michael Modiri

Bradley Paumen’s legal troubles are bad enough, but he may soon be facing additional charges. Remember Michael Modiri, the man police believe was the target of a hit man hired by Paumen? Well he was arrested on May fifth, 2015 after a search of a checkpoint turned up an unlicensed vehicle and ammunition in his vehicle. Modiri and three other persons were driving through St. Margaret’s Village when they were stopped. The search turned up a Mossberg brand point twenty-two calibre rifle with scope and a bag full of ammo. Modiri and the other persons were charged, remanded and later released on bail. But investigators now say Modiri was framed. New information received indicates that Bradley Paumen purchased the Mossberg rifle and got somebody to hide it in Modiri’s vehicle, along with the ammunition. Paumen then allegedly called police and got them to set up the checkpoint with a tip about the weapon. Now that’s bizarre, but not a far stretch for the man police believe put out a hit on four people, one of them just a local attorney representing his opponent in court. If Paumen remains in the country, which authorities believe is unlikely, he could be slapped with other charges in the next few days.
