Lincoln Bejerano Arraigned for Armenia Carjacking

Lincoln Bejerano

On January second, a family was traumatized when they were jacked at gunpoint in Armenia Village. According to Melanie Popper Coc, she was heading to Pomona with her mother and four children when she received a phone call and pulled off the road to answer it. According to Coc, that’s when a man came out the bushes and took away her cell-phone while another man ordered her family out the vehicle. The men then took off in the pickup, along with her purse, phones, tablets and an assortment of items. Tonight, there is an update to that armed robbery, and an arrest. Late this evening, police confirmed that twenty-five year old Lincoln Bejerano, a suspect in the murder of one and possible two taxi-men in Belmopan recently, was positively identified as one of the jackers. Bejerano, currently on remand, was in the Belmopan Magistrate’s Court today where he was formally arraigned for robbery and send back to prison. Police, meanwhile, continue to investigate Bejerano’s involvement in the murders of the two taxi-men, Isidro Suar and Yoni Maas.
